Enriched objects are central notions in this book: enriched Lie algebras, enriched vector spaces, and enriched dgl’s. Here we introduce, with examples, enriched Lie algebras, their morphisms, and their universal enveloping algebras. Closed ideals are also very important, in particular because the quotient of an enriched Lie algebra by a closed ideal is always an enriched Lie algebra.
