Sensing needs a large bandwidth, since the range resolution is inversely proportional to the signal bandwidth. To achieve a resolution of 1 meter, a bandwidth of 300 MHz is needed. If the range resolution is 0.1 meter, the bandwidth increases to 3 GHz, which is much larger than the total bandwidth of 5G communications.
