A structured questionnaire, random sampling across 16 boroughs, and statistical tools including correlation analysisCorrelation analysis and paired t-tests were used to assess how the availability, quality, and proximity of green spacesGreen spaces shape individual health outcomesHealth outcomes. The findings indicate a strong positive correlation between access to green spacesGreen spaces and psychosocial well-being, reflected in reduced stress, improved emotional stability, and enhanced social cohesion. A moderate yet significant association was also observed between green spaceGreen spaces access and physical healthPhysical health, highlighting benefits such as increased exercise frequency, cardiovascular fitness, and reduced lifestyle-related ailments. Furthermore, distance-based analysis shows that individuals living closer to green spaces engage in more frequent and longer durations of outdoor physical activityPhysical activity. The chapter reinforces the critical need to integrate green spacesGreen spaces into urban public healthUrban public health planning.
