This chapter draws together the account of colour experience developed over Chaps. 4 and 5 , and describes how this alters and enriches existing conceptions of colour space. It argues that although this yields a more complex conception of colour space than we are used to, it should nevertheless be accepted, since its complexity simply reflects that which we find in experience.
