Application Test of 3D3C Rainbow PTV to Gas Flow in a Wind Tunnel with Helium-Filled-Soap Bubbles
摘要
This study adopted aWind tunnel low-cost, three-dimensionalThree-dimensional three-component measurement three-component rainbow particle tracking velocimetryRainbow particle tracking velocimetry measurement method, using a liquid crystal display projector and a single-color camera, to a wind tunnel experimentWind tunnel experiment. Helium-filled soap bubblesHelium-filled soap bubbles were used as tracers in the measurement of flow around a rectangular bluff body. It was found that the overall flow around the bluff body could be measured. In addition, a comparison of time-averaged fields with results obtained using a laser Doppler velocimetry probe showed consistent trends.
