Artificial intelligence is transforming how science generates and validates knowledge, raising new concerns about transparency, accountability, and trust. This chapter argues that the epistemic and ethical dimensions of AI in science are deeply interdependent: issues of reliability and opacity are inseparable from questions of fairness, responsibility, and inclusivity. Bridging philosophy of science and ethics of technology, we propose an integrated framework to examine how AI reshapes both scientific reasoning and the moral infrastructures that sustain it.

摘要

Artificial intelligence is transforming how science generates and validates knowledge, raising new concerns about transparency, accountability, and trust. This chapter argues that the epistemic and ethical dimensions of AI in science are deeply interdependent: issues of reliability and opacity are inseparable from questions of fairness, responsibility, and inclusivity. Bridging philosophy of science and ethics of technology, we propose an integrated framework to examine how AI reshapes both scientific reasoning and the moral infrastructures that sustain it.
