One of the sectors most significantly influenced by the quick development of AI technology is healthcare. The incorporation of AI techniques is revolutionizing the healthcare sector by empowering more personalized, situational, and preventive healthcare. This change is consistent with the belief that “prevention is better than cure.” AI technologies and methods facilitate a transformative shift in health management rather than just care. For instance, AI can recognize early indicators of possible health problems by evaluating massive volumes of medical data and keeping track of patients in real time. This allows for intervention before minor conditions worsen and become major complications. It is helpful especially in cases of chronic conditions since useful AI predictive classification would be able to pick warning signs of diabetes or heart diseases in patients, enabling appropriate preventive measures to be put in place long before they become problematic. In addition to achieving better medical results, AI also enhances the way patients are handled as it reduces the length of stay in hospitals, and the need for surgery among others. It also advances causes such as the value-based care where the aim is to maintain health for a long period as opposed to just treating it for a short period. AI enables patients to actively manage their well-being by making health information actionable and accessible, which promotes control and collaboration in their care. This study explores how AI is driving healthcare toward a more adaptive rather than curative system. Emphasis on contextual care within AI enables the creation of health promoting system with a focus on not only cure but wellness which is at the core of patient care where technology and care work hand in hand for better health outcomes.
