Healthcare Professionals’ Views on the Impact of Hospital Design on Emotions and Wellbeing in Patients with Non-communicable Diseases

This study highlights the crucial role of hospital design in patient recovery and wellbeingWellbeing, particularly for those with non-communicable diseases (NCDsNon-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)). Through a literature review and interviews with medical professionals in Alexandria, Egypt, it explores the impact of hospital environments on patients’ emotions. The findings reveal that thoughtful design can evoke positive emotions, enhance comfort, and promote wellness, ultimately accelerating recovery.
