An Intelligent Decision Support System for Cultural Heritage Preservation
摘要
The TRIQUETRA project (GA no. 101094818) aims to develop a robust, evidence-based Decision Support System (DSS) to assist in identifying and mitigating the effects of Climate Change (CC) on Cultural Heritage (CH) monuments. The project is structured around three key core elements: risk identification, quantification and mitigation. Central to this initiative is the creation of the Knowledge Base Platform (KBP), an advanced repository integrating diverse datasets, including climate, geological, historical and site-specific information. A key component of the DSS is the Mitigation Measure Selection and Optimisation module, which provides tailored recommendations for each pilot site of TRIQUETRA. It employs a multicriteria search to filter mitigation measures based on factors such as cost, implementation timeframe and topological effect, aligning results with user preferences. The algorithm is developed to be adaptable to different user inputs and scalable leveraging the searchable literature database provided by the KBP, to propose mitigation and protection solutions for any CH site, based on the compatibility level of the site in question with other CH sites that share a similar set of characteristics, encountered in relevant bibliography. In this manner, the user has access to a ranking of the mitigation and protection measures applied to CH sites facing hazards similar to those of their interest. The development of this module aims to facilitate advanced research on each pilot CH site, contributing to improved CH monitoring towards optimal and tailored preservation and risk mitigation strategies.
