Human Response to Geodiversity
摘要
This chapter examines the intricate relationship between human activities and geodiversity components in Lahaul and Spiti. It explores agricultural practices, habitat adaptations, seasonal dhabas, and geotourism as forms of human responses to the geo-climatic environment. Case studies and satellite imagery support the analysis, and a SWOT analysis outlines the strengths and vulnerabilities of the region’s socio-ecological system.
