Conclusions and Recommendations
摘要
Scally provides final thoughts and a summary of the content discussed so far, using a systems approach to provide an explanation of key challenges for survivors using the child contact system in the context of intimate partner violence and abuse (IPVA). Several key challenges are identified, including working in silos, system goals within and between systems, and attitudes and beliefs. This chapter sets out how we might progress based on the findings of three research studies with survivors and professionals. Finally, limitations of the book and recommendations for future practice, policy, and research are addressed, with survivor voices taking priority. The chapter works towards goals 5 (gender equality) and 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions) of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
