Automation is one of the ways to ensure the security of collecting activities. With the growing threats of robbery and theft in the transportation of monetary funds and valuables, automation becomes a key tool to improve the safety and operational efficiency of collecting activities. It is advisable to form a hybrid structure of automated security monitoring system for collecting activities based on a combination of automation (robotization of routes, AI-threat analysis) and human control (decision-making in extraordinary situations). This security monitoring system architecture should include a dispatch center with several dispatch units, and the following technical solutions shall be applied: GPS-tracking, tamper sensors, armored vaults, surveillance equipment, RFID tags, biometric identification, panic buttons for calling a rapid response team, radio communication and satellite surveillance means. A particular attention should be paid to equipping special armored vehicles used for collecting with automation equipment. Such automation equipment will make it possible to carry out real-time monitoring of the vehicle’s route, its stops, travel speed, communications and behavior of the personnel. Although the costs of creation and maintenance are relatively high, the offered automated system for constant monitoring of special vehicles movement and actions of employees involved in collecting activities makes it possible to achieve a significant effect in improving the security of such activities, reflected in reducing the level of threats, criminal and operational risks, which proves its expediency to be used by both banks and special collecting institutions.

摘要
