To support the CCI in the information environment, enterprises use CAD. The CAD functionality provides solutions to the following tasks: process management, work management, work logging, management of production and technological resources, etc. The paper describes the main directions of reducing the cycle of design and technological preparation of production facilities. It is shown that the use of digital twins technology in product development, as well as the intellectualization of the process design system through ontology reduces the time, financial and other resource costs incurred during the work. The example demonstration the CCI business process, as well as the showing detailing the stages of the technological process development.
