Simulation training is an efficacious educational approach for healthcare professionals, offering a secure environment for nurses to enhance their surgical nursing skills. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview and practical guidance on implementing two primary forms of simulation training: task training and full-scenario simulation. The deliberate practice education methodology and its application in surgical skill training are discussed, followed by an examination of multidisciplinary crew resource management (CRM) scenario training to augment teamwork and communication within surgical teams. The chapter then employs real-world examples from a simulation course, focusing on massive blood transfusion and cardiac arrest scenarios, to elucidate the preparation, execution, and debriefing processes in full-scenario simulation. Furthermore, the chapter addresses administrative and logistical aspects, such as pre- and post-training online questionnaires and timetable design considerations, to facilitate training organization within the workplace. Additionally, the chapter explores the role of simulation in surgical nursing to tackle human factors and occupational safety risks, presenting the concept of pre-move-in in situ simulation and its lessons learned. In conclusion, implementing the strategies and tips presented in this chapter can foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among healthcare professionals in surgical nursing, ultimately leading to enhanced patient safety and healthcare outcomes.

摘要
