The Future of AI Must Drive Wisdom, Otherwise it Has No Future: A Framework Toward AI-Enabled Human Wisdom
摘要
Cognitive technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) have demonstrated impressive capabilities, yet their capacity to generate wisdom remains limited. Wisdom emerges from embodied human experience, relational resonance, ethical judgment, and a commitment to the common good—dimensions AI lacks due to its reliance on curated, syntactic representations of knowledge. This conceptual paper argues that while AI cannot be wise in itself, it can support humans in cultivating wisdom. We propose an AI-enabled framework that fosters human resonance with the world and the self as a dynamic, transformative process. AI can serve as a reflective partner by facilitating deeper insight, perspective-taking, and uncovering hidden assumptions and worldviews. It can also inspire creative interaction with the world and support processes of meaning-making. Building on this, this chapter introduces the paradigm of spiritual knowledge management, which shifts the focus from efficiency and predefined goals to enabling personal and organizational flourishing. In this view, AI becomes a cocreative guide—not a substitute for human wisdom, but a catalyst for deeper knowing, self-actualization, and the unfolding of one’s future version in resonance with the world.
