The Role of Stakeholders in Sustainable Electrification
摘要
Electrification through renewable energy stands as a central challenge in the global energy transition. This chapter explores how key stakeholders—including policymakers, the private sector, local communities, and NGOs—shape this process. Drawing on recent studies and diverse case examples selected for their illustrative value, it adopts a practice-oriented perspective to examine how these actors contribute to, or sometimes hinder, sustainable electrification. The chapter highlights recurring challenges as well as emerging initiatives and engagement patterns among key stakeholders across different levels of action. It concludes by pointing to the importance of greater coordination to better align efforts and promote a more inclusive and effective transition.
