The article describes the new method of preparation for championships in the field of game development aimed at college students with the usage of the course constructor and learning platform as its main tools. Courses and competences, presented as platform’s studying materials, heavily rely on Unity as a main digital tool. Unity allows to create practice-oriented classes due to its interactivity and ability to visualize complex data. Additionally, training process features specialized tests and final assignments at the end of each learning section for students. Main goal of the approach is to provide full coverage of all main competences for college student, while also including requirements for college studying program, college’s demonstration exams, and requirements of championships in which students participate.
