This paper describes the rapid growth of information technology and the widespread use of digital teaching methods in education present challenges to university physical education reforms. The teaching of Yingge dance, a component of university sports programs, also faces limitations. This paper summarizes research on digital technology and Yingge dance teaching, analyzing student and teacher perspectives through surveys. It identifies issues such as limited Yingge dance courses, traditional teaching methods, low student awareness, and enthusiasm. Strategies for integrating digital technology into Yingge dance teaching, innovating teaching methods, optimizing evaluation models, and expanding professional training are proposed. These measures aim to enhance university sports teaching models, increase student interest in Yingge dance, and integrate digital methods with traditional teaching. The goal is to improve teaching effectiveness, promote Yingge dance culture, and strengthen cultural confidence among students, offering significant theoretical and practical implications.
