Case Studies in Implementation
摘要
Each software project is managed and executed in an individual and unique manner. Some projects follow a very rigid project management and systems engineering process, requiring formalized project documentation for every customer change, causing a large amount of effort on the project management and customer team, but leading to a very controlled development environment. These types of projects are quite common in the Department of Defense. It is more common for projects to be extremely Agile, reacting quickly to changing customer needs, but resulting in a very unstable development environment with increased project failure risk. In this chapter, we will show case studies discussing software projects using varying degrees of Predictive and Agile project management and engineering and technical rigor.
