The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of the combination of both organizational agility (OA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on sustainable innovation in Moroccan companies that have incorporated AI solutions and reorganized to become agile. This study applied a quantitative design and analyzed a questionnaire of 108 Moroccan companies that have experienced a digital transformation and have changed their organizational practices and management. The outcome of the research indicates that OA and AI can encourage sustainable innovation through sustainable innovation drivers including: the adoption of AI as an increasing standard, a heightened flexibility of firm organizational processes, focused implementation of AI augmented by enhanced human capabilities, and investment in AI technology. By applying agile principles and becoming digitally enhanced, Moroccan firms can react quickly to changes in customer needs, generate innovation to satisfy new customer behaviors, increase productivity, develop an inclusive organizational culture, and aim to be resilient to change all of which support sustainable innovation. These practical implications add actionable dimension to knowledge development for Moroccan companies, and attempts to highlight the synergy required for organizations committed to becoming more agile while leveraging AI resources for sustainable innovation. The originality of the research is the innovative contribution to both theory and practice to highlight the potential benefit of integrating OA and AI to encourage sustainable innovation, thus providing research and practitioners with valuable contributions.
