When Researching Professionalization of Family Firms, I Found that there Is What I Call a ‘Doubles Game’: An Interview with Prof. Kavil Ramachandran
摘要
Drawing from over forty years of experience with SMEs Kavil Ramachandran allows us to peek into the world of Indian family businesses. In order to break the current trend of large family firms in India breaking-up, he advocates for three clearly distinct roles for family members to move through: entrepreneur, strategist and responsible owner. He articulates a reframed understanding of retirement—for himself as career professor—as much as for family firm elders.
