This chapter presents the Decolonisation Toolkit project, a two-phase initiative led by students and staff at the University of Exeter between 2020 and 2022. Aimed at raising awareness and fostering dialogue, the project supported educators in addressing practices that marginalise underrepresented communities. Through surveys and interviews, the team uncovered diverse understandings of decolonisation and varying perspectives on its role in education. Despite differing levels of experience, staff and students expressed a strong desire to deepen their engagement with decolonial work. In response, the team developed a central online repository featuring introductory materials, reflective prompts, case studies, multimedia resources, and collaboration tools. A discipline-specific deep dive in Geography produced a goal map and planning tool adaptable to other contexts. The aim of this chapter is to share both our approach to the project and our reflections on it. We hope this might aid others who are considering their own social justice initiatives, and/or serve as a point of comparison to those who have undertaken similar work.

摘要
