General Aspects of Wrist Arthroscopy
摘要
This chapter starts with indications for wrist arthroscopy. In the last decade, considerable advances have been made in its application in hand surgery. The technique how to perform arthroscopy is described in the next chapter. Attention is given how to perform a thorough and systemic evaluation of the wrist. Especially, triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) and scapho-lunate (SL) pathology and classifications are discussed. A literature overview of outcomes of the most common performed arthroscopic procedures will be provided. Tip and tricks when wrist arthroscopy are provided. Potential complications of wrist are discussed. Finally, future directions, for example, artificial intelligence and three-dimensional (3D) planning, are given.
