Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injuries are complex and commonly associated with multiple ligament knee injuries. Patients with partial tears, minor laxity, and restricted activity are mainly treated conservatively, while operative management is reserved for high-demand patients or those with excessive laxity and/or complete tears. Multiple graft choices and surgical techniques can be utilized, demonstrating good to excellent outcomes with high patient satisfaction. No statistical differences between transtibial/tibial inlay, single-bundle (SB)/double-bundle (DB), and allograft/autograft in terms of patient-reported outcomes have been validated.
