First Metatarsophalangeal Arthroscopy
摘要
First metatarsal phalangeal joint (1MTPJ) arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique used for several therapeutic procedures on pathologies affecting the first metatarsophalangeal joint including osteochondral lesions, loose bodies, intra-articular fracture, arthrofibrosis, sesamoiditis, inflammatory arthritis, and hallux rigidus (osteoarthritis). Recent advances in arthroscopic techniques allow correction of hallux varus and hallux valgus deformities under arthroscopic guidance. Most existing studies reported low complication rates with 1MTPJ arthroscopy.
