A Systemic Approach to Social Entrepreneurship and Its Relationship with Sustainable Water Management in Tourism Dynamics
摘要
In response to the challenges of tourism in environments under high pressure on natural resources, social entrepreneurship emerges as a strategy capable of generating social innovation while contributing to water and territorial sustainability. Water management and conservation are vital aspects of life, underscoring their importance for ecosystem health and the basic needs of society. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guide tourism practices towards continuous improvement. The aim of this research is to identify and interpret the interaction between water, social entrepreneurship and tourism dynamics in rural communities of Mexico City, providing a comprehensive diagnosis of the current situation. To achieve this, the Total Systems Intervention (TSI) was applied. The findings reveal that social entrepreneurship has a positive impact on sustainable development and the preservation of water resources, being essential for long-term sustainability in tourism dynamics.
