摘要

Section 1.2 . First, we introduce the functional calculus of sectorial operators as it was defined by A. McIntosh in the 1980s (in particular in McIntosh, Proc CMA Canberra 14:210–231, 1986). Next, we extend this functional calculus in the case of bounded sectorial operators. By transfer, this allows us to define a functional calculus suited for Ritt operators. We also consider a natural functional calculus for power bounded operators and establish its compatibility with the previous ones.
