Examples include potential failure mode analysis, nonlinear seismic analysis of gravity dams, fragility development, and risk evaluation under seismic hazard. Each case highlights unique challenges such as limited data, model calibration, or regulatory constraints. Sensitivity studies, uncertainty propagation, and comparative evaluations are showcased. This chapter demonstrates how PBEE principles can be applied in practice, offering a blueprint for engineers, researchers, and regulators engaged in dam safety assessment.
