In this chapter, intuition is defined as the cognitive faculty which senses logic. Intuition recognizes and understands (“sees”, “gets”), in the most basic terms, that “this follows from that”. Understanding that “this follows from that” causally, is a matter of science. Understanding that “this follows from that” necessarily, is a matter of logic. As the faculty which senses logic, intuition targets the inner logic of any system, mainly natural systems and social practices, in an attempt to “get it”. The notion of the ‘inner logic’ of a system, or a phenomenon, or a practice etc. is explored as that which is the key to “making sense” of the system. Accordingly, intuition senses the logical force of its target, as a unique compulsion of what must be in that target.

摘要
