This study quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed the status of convergence of MaaS (Mobility as a Service) technology using patent big data from the past 10 years. MaaS is a complex service that converges various technologies such as autonomous driving, communication, AI, IoT, and big data, and the interaction between technologies is key. As a result of IPC code analysis, approximately 48% of registered patents were concentrated in the top 10 technologies, confirming that convergence is taking place centered on specific technology clusters. In addition, various core technologies such as autonomous driving control, V2X communication, smart parking, and autonomous logistics were identified through LDA-based topic analysis, and ‘connectivity’ and ‘intelligence’ were suggested as the development axes of MaaS.
