Work is focused on experimental verification of the possibility to increase the service life of shaped parts of molds and cores for the production of aluminium alloy castings by innovative renovation technologies and thus contribute to higher production efficiency while maintaining high demands on the quality of production of die-cast aluminium alloy castings. This goal requires mastering experimental research, selection of quality material base and verification of innovative technological procedures for the renovation of functional surfaces of shaped parts of molds and cores for die casting of aluminium alloys. Expected results of the work can be used in the renovation of functional surfaces of shaped parts of molds and cores for the production of castings in all pressure foundries.
