The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) represents a bold step towards economic integration across Africa. Its secretariat, headquartered in Accra, Ghana, plays a unique and strategic role in implementing this agreement. This chapter examines the background of the AfCFTA and its envisioned role in shaping Ghana’s economic trajectory.
