The manufacturing industry, being a crucial driver of global economic growth, simultaneously contributes significantly to environmental degradation. Facing increasing demands for sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), manufacturing organizations seek innovative methods to optimize their processes. Industry 4.0 introduced fundamental changes in manufacturing, logistics, and other economic sectors, evolving towards currently discussed trends associated with the concept of Industry 5.0. This article analyzes the current status and scope of Digital Twin (DT) implementation, recognized as a key component of modern manufacturing, supporting organizations in their CSR activities. The obtained results indicate that, despite extensive discussion of DT in the literature, its practical application in industry – particularly within the CSR domain remains limited, with most implementations being conceptual or partial in nature. This creates an opportunity for further development of the proposed concept as a response to the current demand for sustainable development.

摘要
