摘要

The use of synergistic pyrolysisPyrolysis with organic matter to promote the neutralization of bauxite residueBauxite residue (BR) has increased significantly. This study investigated the potential synergistic effect of BR in pyrolysisPyrolysis when combined with Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and biomassBiomass (sugarcane bagasse), in relation to gas yieldGas yield. Statistical methods were used to evaluate the reproducibility of the procedure and the tested equipment. PyrolysisPyrolysis of pure materials, binary, and ternary mixtures was conducted at 600 °C. The results confirmed the catalytic effect of BR. The binary mixtures showed an increase of 35.97 and 46.97% in gas yieldGas yield when BR was blended with biomassBiomass and RDF, respectively. The ternary mixture exhibited a 33.6% increase in gas yieldGas yield. Due to the presence of metals such as ironIron, aluminumAluminum, and calciumCalcium, BR exhibits a catalytic effect during the pyrolysisPyrolysis process. The products of synergistic pyrolysisPyrolysis have the potential to replace fossil fuels in alumina refineriesAlumina refinery.
