A new MHDMagneto-Hydro-Dynamic (MHD)-Valdis code (MHDMagneto-Hydro-Dynamic (MHD) stand for Magneto-Hydro-Dynamic and Valdis stand for Versatile aluminum pad displacement instabilityInstability solver) version has been developed that support variable anode resistancesAnode resistance and even extra anodeAnode to bath contact resistance to represent the impact of the frozen bath forming on the cold new anodeAnode to study various impacts of anode changesAnode change in the cell stabilityCell stability. Preliminary results will be presented in the present work.
