Failures can occur if the outlet damper positions are disturbed suddenly, which was not controlled easily. In this project, damper fail-safe mode was added, a verification of high inlet/outlet duct pressure was introduced before initiating closing command, and manual option of damper control was created for the operators. Upon successful completion of this project, uncontrolled closing of the dampers of the main exhaust fansMain exhaust fan was eliminated, which ensured reliable operation and fume treatment.
