Research on Optimization Plan for Enterprise Raw Material Procurement and Transportation

Ordering, moving, and storing the necessary materials during the enterprise’s manufacturing process will directly affect how well the enterprise produces goods. To assure regular production and boost an enterprise’s production efficiency, it is crucial to develop a reasonable and effective plan for ordering and transferring raw materials. This study presents a comprehensive solution on the premise of assuring the normal production of enterprises while taking into account the pursuit of maximum economic advantages and minimum transportation loss rate. Firstly, the entropy weight is used to select suppliers. Secondly, based on the premise that the enterprise should maintain sufficient raw material inventory as far as possible and the principle of cost saving, the most economical ordering scheme is formulated. Finally, considering the limitation of transshipment capacity of forwarders and the requirement of reducing transport loss rate, the final transshipment plan is determined using a 0-1 linear programming model.
