In this research, solvent extractionSolvent extraction tests have been carried out using different organic extractants, such as D2EHPAD2EHPA and Cyanex 923Cyanex 923 in kerosene, where isodecane was used as a modifier to extract REEsRare earth elements (REEs) from this PLS. Different operating parameters, such as time, temperature, A/O ratio, feed metalMetal concentration, and extractant concentration, were studied to determine the optimum conditions for maximum extractionExtraction of REEsRare earth elements (REEs) by the extractants. Experimental results revealed that Cyanex 923Cyanex 923 performs better than D2EHPAD2EHPA, where about 89% Ce, 77% La, 92% Pr, 93% Nd, and 96% Y were extracted at their optimum conditions.
