Resilient Supply Chain in Manufacturing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Using New Trendings in Data Analysis Techniques. A Literature Review

This research proposes effective strategies for creating a Resilient Supply Chain (RSC) that allows Manufacturing Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to make decisions to carry out a continuous process according to their capabilities and company opportunities. This work analyzes the adverse internal effects caused by disruptive internal adverse events. It is essential to consider that the company’s objectives must be integrated into decision-making through the optimization and strategic planning of the supply chain. Strategic planning is one of the main factors that contribute to the performance and competitiveness of a company since it will achieve its objectives and be more competitive, adjust the reality of the company and anticipate the future. In this research, the importance of resilience in the supply chain of SMEs is carried out, which are essential to ensure their continuity and growth. Information is also acquired on strategies and practices to promote resilience and strengthen the supply chain of a company to improve its efficiency, competitiveness and have more opportunities. This is a comprehensive review of the concepts and techniques most used by companies to achieve RCS, where these techniques were grouped into four samples, where related techniques are obtained in each sample.
