Strengthening Resilience Through Risk Analysis in the Mining Sector of the State of Sonora
摘要
The Mining sector in the State of Sonora plays a fundamental role in the economy of the region and the country, and as part of the operations, the risk is present in the activities that are carried out during its useful life, with vulnerable points within its supply chain, facing risks associated with external factors that threaten its operation (exploration, preparation, and construction of the deposit, exploitation, and/or beneficiation, closure, and abandonment), hence the need to analyze and identify appropriate strategies that allow the continuity of operations, their impact on resilience through risk management, which directs as a proposal in the use of various analytical techniques for risk assessment, which favor determining the level and effects of the risks associated with disruptions, such as the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP), allowing to diagnose and prioritize risks toward better decision-making in the face of external threats that endanger their operations, strengthening the resilience of the supply chain.
