Information Technology (IT) is a key tool for improving business competitiveness, which requires proper governance and management. IT governance is an integral part of corporate governance, providing mechanisms that encompass the organizational leadership, structures, and processes needed to ensure proper management of IT in organizations. Although international standards and frameworks contribute to the efficient management and use of IT, it is essential to analyze the procedures that allow organizations to direct and control their use to optimize organizational performance, protect information from associated risks, and ensure the implementation of sound practices. This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) that identifies the critical success factors that positively influence IT governance mechanisms. For this purpose, the PRISMA methodology was used to identify and rigorously select relevant documents. The results revealed 68 factors classified within IT governance mechanisms. It is hoped that this study will serve as a reference source for researchers interested in analyzing IT governance structures and developing proposals for improvement in both the public and private spheres.

摘要
