This chapter seeks to contextualized the materiality of religion within the broader Pentecostal movement. The chapter will also explore how the Pentecostal movement understands the concept of salvation which is also known as the full gospel theology and how this theology is related to the concept of materiality. In addition, the chapter will study the relationship between healing and the materiality of religion in Pentecostalism. There will also be an exploration of how the prosperity theology or gospel, or message prepares a ground in Pentecostalism for materialization and materialism.
