Situational Control Application to Construct Adaptive Ontological Environment for Intelligent Tutoring Based on Integrated Expert Systems

The purpose of this work is to describe the results of research related to the construction of an adaptive ontological software environment (AOE) for intelligent tutoring based on the use of tutoring IES and web-IES developed on the basis of a problem-oriented methodology and the intelligent software environment tools of the AT-TECHNOLOGY workbench. An original approach to the development of AOE is presented in the form of a hybrid intelligent control system (ICS) for the functioning of tutoring IES and web IES, with the ICS architecture based on the principles of situational control of complex organizational and technical systems. The proposed models and methods for implementing a situational approach to solving control problems using generalized ontology for representing knowledge about the direction/specialization of tutoring and basic inference tools are described. The architecture of the ICS and issues related to its development based on assembly programming technology are considered.
