Automation and Intellectualization of Management Train and Shunting Movements at the Marshalling Yard
摘要
Automation and intellectualization of train and shunting movement management at the marshalling yard are key components in the digitalization of railway transport infrastructure. This paper proposes an approach to ensure data exchange between different train and shunt management systems and external services at a marshalling station. The aim of the study is to categorize incoming information and create an integration unit that facilitates communication between systems. The new scientific result is the integration of innovative technologies for orchestrating and balancing load in a single cluster, using modern data exchange techniques to provide a highly efficient API for automating and intellectualizing processes at a marshaling station. As a result, we have developed an integration module for automatic control of trains and shunts. This integration module is based on microservice architecture and uses orchestration and service mesh technology. Data exchange between the systems is carried out through remote procedure calls and a message broker. In addition, a test run of the integration unit was conducted to determine the service’s throughput, which was 400 messages per second with a delay of 150 milliseconds.
