This chapter focuses primarily on laser iridotomy and laser iridoplasty. The indications for these procedures are discussed, as is the technique of performing them. The pertinent gonioscopic findings are stressed. It is not the angularity of the anterior chamber angle that provides the needed information. Therefore, correct indications are not provided by a Shaffer Grade, such as a Shaffer 1. Other aspects influencing the angle configuration must be considered.
