The Appearance of Anterior Chamber Angle: It Tells You What Treatment Will Work
摘要
This chapter describes the normal appearance of the anterior chamber angle during gonioscopic examination. The key anatomic structures–iris, ciliary body band, scleral spur, trabecular meshwork, and Schwalbe’s line–are presented with their typical color, contour, and pigmentation patterns, as well as their normal variations. Recognizing these features provides the basics for detecting pathological changes and distinguishing abnormal vessels, pigment deposition, or structural abnormalities that may indicate glaucoma or other segment disorders.
