The Impact of Electronic Trust on Reducing Financial Risks in Jordanian Commercial Banks

This chapter aimed to demonstrate the impact of electronic trust, with its dimensions (source credibility, information quality, and website quality), on reducing financial risks in Jordanian commercial banks. To achieve its objectives, a descriptive analytical approach was used. A total of 480 questionnaires were distributed to the sample, and 451 questionnaires were returned and analyzed. These questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences) software. The most prominent results were that electronic trust, with its dimensions (source credibility, information quality, and website quality), had an impact on reducing financial risks in Jordanian commercial banks. The study advised Jordanian commercial banks to offer more reliable and accurate information on their websites regarding the financial services offered and to strive for impartial material that builds customer trust.
