Leading in Times of Crisis

Crisis management is a mission-critical skill of all contemporary organizational leaders. The continued success and, at times, survival of their organization may depend of their crisis management knowledge and skills. The reality is that most contemporary organizations will face one or more anticipated and/or unanticipated crisis events or situations that have the potential of challenging their continued operations, success, and at times their survival. Successful crisis management involves leadership skills and abilities related to the five elements of the crisis management process: crisis prevention, crisis preparation, crisis recognition, crisis resolution, and crisis recovery.
