This chapter seeks to highlight specific aspects of Greek language education in Canada from the perspective of all stakeholders, to discuss these findings in a broader sociocultural and political context, and to propose an action plan for strengthening the prospects of Greek language education in Canada. Based on the research findings emerging from the Hellenic Relay study, the chapter critically discusses the views of school administrators, teachers, Greek language learners across various educational settings, as well as those of their parents. A synthesis of these perspectives reveals significant insights underlying challenges related to the maintenance and vitality of Greek language education by enhancing the social and educational engagement of all community members. Extensive analysis of the research data, resulting from a long-term interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers across Greece and North America, may serve as a valuable resource for developing a comprehensive action plan to further promote diversity and minority language use within multicultural globalized contexts.

摘要
