This article presents a systematic literature review on higher education distance learning, based on PRISMA 2020 protocol, considering aspects such as student performance assessment, dropout factors on remote learning and e-learning courses quality evaluation practices, building a conceptual framework proposal based on the literature review, covering the needs of UNIVESP - a Brazilian public university, fully dedicated to remote learning – regarding learning analytics adoption. This report is the first step in an extensive study aimed at addressing the discussion on learning analytics and its role in supporting remote learning in higher education. The objectives of this work are: (i) realize a systematic literature review on higher education remote learning, focused on student performance, dropout factors and course quality; (ii) propose a metric to classify the articles in the literature review based in their coverage of multiple research questions; (iii) identify key performance indicators (KPIs) based in the literature review; and (iv) set a conceptual framework for learning analytics to be adopted by UNIVESP, considering the identified KPIs and the literature review.

摘要
